What is Microblading?
Microblading is a cosmetic tattooing form that is a semi-permanent. But unlike traditional tattoos, microblading uses a blade-shaped tool (not a tattoing gun) with a tiny, barely visible row of needles to create hair-like strokes along your brows while depositing pigment into your skin.
Is Microblading a tattoo?
Microblading is a different type of tattoo (not permanent). Microblabing and tattoing use different “inks”—tattoos use a concentrated ink. Microblading use smaller pigment particles. They’re also applied differently. With microblading, the ink is applied just to the surface of your skin, rather than placed into your skin’s deeper layers.
Is Microblading painful?
Microblading -like aqny other tattooing procedure- can be painful in some degree, but the level of pain may vary depending on your own natural pain tolerance. You can request for a numbing gel before it begins.
But in general, microblading can feel like a cat scratch. You can expect the pain to be a little uncomfortable, but not unbearable.
How long does microblading last?
Microblading can last -depending on your skin type- from one to three years (oilier skin types tend to fadeout sooner). The fading is gradual, wearing out little by little on time until the third year, where you can expect it to be nearly untraceable. However, regular touch-ups can help your to keep it up ontime too.
